Cache Creek Residential Solar Installation
After seeing one of our recent features in the local paper, this Cache Creek homeowner reached out looking to explore solar and move closer to net-zero energy. With major renovations already completed (including a newer roof and upgraded electrical service) the home was a great candidate for a solar install.
We designed and installed a 12 kW grid-connected system using 24 high-efficiency Longi 500W panels. The array was mounted on a sloped asphalt shingle roof, with careful planning to work within the home’s mixed rafter and truss structure while minimizing any disruption to the finished interior.
Despite partial shading from nearby trees, the system is designed to produce approximately 11,756 kWh annually, offsetting around 78% of the home’s energy use and making a meaningful step toward long-term energy independence.
This project is a great example of how thoughtful system design and quality equipment can integrate seamlessly with an upgraded home, even in rural locations.
